Aquila Capital has been informed of the unauthorised and fraudulent use of the Aquila Capital name. Through the website (https://aquila-invest.org), alleged financial services and fixed-term deposit products are being offered under the name Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft mbH. These offerings have absolutely no connection to Aquila Capital or any of its branches or subsidiaries. They appear to constitute fraud.
Have you been contacted by someone claiming to be associated with Aquila Capital?
Please be aware of the following warning signs, among others:
- Aquila Capital does not use the domain https://aquila-invest.org. All our emails originate solely from the domains aquila.capital, previously also aquila-capital.de or aquila-capital.com.
- Documents issued by Aquila Capital are never signed by only one person. We strictly adhere to the four-eyes principle with two signatures. You can view an up-to-date extract from the commercial register free of charge via the following portal: Registerportal.
- All marketing materials issued by Aquila Capital include a regulatory disclaimer section at the end of the document.
- All marketing materials issued by Aquila Capital clearly state the relevant Aquila Capital entity with its full legal name, e.g. Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft mbH.
If you find various Aquila companies and logos combined in a document, this is a clear warning sign.
Aquila Capital is a regulated investment firm and does not offer fixed-term deposit products for retail investors, nor will it do so in the future. Aquila Capital is not involved in any reported fraud cases and accepts no liability for any resulting losses, damages, or claims. We therefore expressly warn against any such offers which falsely suggest a connection to Aquila Capital and urge you to exercise utmost caution.
We advise anyone who has been contacted by a person claiming to work for Aquila Capital and offering fixed-term deposit products to ignore such offers and not to disclose any personal or financial information.
We also recommend reporting such incidents to the local authorities as well as to Aquila Capital at info@aquila-capital.de.
Aquila Capital takes the protection of its brand and reputation very seriously and will take legal action against any unauthorised use of its name or logo. Aquila Capital is already in contact with BaFin regarding this matter.
