Accountant - Renewable energy

For our office in Madrid we are looking for an Accountant to join our financial team.
Your responsibilities
- General accounting and bookkeeping
- Management of monthly journal entries, provisions, and depreciations
- Management of supporting documentation for accounting entries and supporting files
- Accounting closings (monthly and year-end)
- Preparation of tax compliance forms (VAT declarations, CIT/Mod 22, etc.)
- Reconciliation of accounts: Banks, AP/AR, intercompany figures, etc
- Design and implementation of analytical accounting: working with coding trees and budgeting items.
- Creation and development of internal financial controls, evaluating their robustness, reasonableness and implementation
Your qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration and Management, Economics or similar
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
- Responsible and organized person
- Eager to join a growing and ambitious long-term project
- Precise and reliable working method coupled with high autonomy, implementation strength and flexibility
- Teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Languages: English, Portuguese (an asset)
